Since 2016, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has required all of its members to take code of ethics courses every two years to maintain their members in the Association. First adopted in 1913, these courses outline a Standard of Practice, as well as 17 articles that spotlight appropriate changes and revisions to the code. In addition to the code updates, these courses will arm you with relevant practices to apply the new information to your day-to-day workflow.
- National Association of REALTORS® certified courses.
- Get specialized content for residential and commercial agents.
Attention REALTOR® members: Upon completion of an online Code of Ethics course, please send a copy of your course certificate or affidavit to your primary REALTOR® Association so they may update your membership record.

REALTORS® who have joined the association after January 1, 2019 and attended the Code of Ethics portion of Orientation, have already fulfilled their training requirements. All other members must complete the training by December 31, 2021, in order to continue their membership with the Association.
