Class Description

Training for the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation is designed to help sales professionals who currently work in the upper-tier move to the next level or to help those just beginning to target the luxury market jump-start their business. Learn what wealthy buyers and sellers say are the "real secrets" to capturing their business and delivering outstanding service.

The registration fee for the Atlanta training is currently an Early Bird discount of $550 through February 10, 2020. After, the price will be the standard registration rate of $600. Instructor Bio

Bill Hensley

Bill Hensley is a proven leader and instructor at the highest levels of human performance. He's been a licensed broker in California since 1994, when he founded a successful luxury real estate brokerage in San Diego, and operated it for over a decade before combining forces with a national company. Before becoming a full-time luxury broker and trainer, Bill was an officer and supersonic-jet instructor pilot in the United States Air Force where success or failure was measure in inches while travelling at 500 miles per hour. After leaving the Air Force, he flew for several decades as a commercial airline pilot for one of the largest passenger airlines in the world. Bill has also made time to publish several top-selling leadership and training books that are currently sold in more than 17 countries from Europe to Asia and beyond. He is a frequent television commentator, and previously hosted his own AM radio talk show in San Diego, and he also holds a black belt in karate, formerly competing at the national level. Bill now enthusiastically spends his time in the luxury real estate industry sharing lessons and insights gained from his diverse past experiences.

Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)

Course Description

The Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation is the exclusive global designation of NAR®. This premier designation is awarded by NAR's Commercial and Global Services department to REALTORS® who complete the coursework and meet practical experience criteria that demonstrate knowledge and familiarity with global clients.

How to earn the CIPS Designation?
  • Successfully complete two core courses and three elective courses (options and requirements vary for US and non-US applicants)
  • Designees must complete the designation application form with at least 100 elective credits. Elective credits can be earned in 13 different categories such as: speaking other languages, possessing additional NAR® designations, attending international conferences and international transactions, experience abroad, and others.
  • Be a member in good standing of NAR (or NAR cooperating international association)
Is there a fee to become a CIPS Designee?

There is a one-time application fee of $75 for US and Canadian REALTORS® or $300 for International REALTORS®.

How much are the annual membership dues?

Dues for the CIPS Designation are $220 annually for US and Canadian REALTORS® and new applicant dues are pro-rated quarterly based on the date of application.

For International REALTORS®, you remain an active designee by paying the International REALTOR® dues of $75.

How to earn the CRS Designation:
  • 60/30/30 Program: 60 transactions OR $30 Million in volume over the most recent/last 3 years AND 30 hours of RRC education.
  • The Pro Program: 10+ years as a licensed real estate agent, 100 transactions total (OR an average of $1 million per year with at least 40 transactions), 16 hours of RRC education.
  • Pro-Program: 150 transactions or average of $1M per year with 40 transactions, and 16 education credits.
Is there a fee to become Designated?

There is a one-time application fee of $75.

How much are the annual Membership dues?

Annual member dues are $195. In order to continue to use the CRS Designation, you must continue to pay your annual membership dues.

What is the cost of annual Green REsource Council membership?

Annual renewal is $98.50. Your membership begins upon completion of the two required courses, which includes one year of membership in the Green REsource Council. Your second year of membership — which begins one year after your completion of the two required courses — will be prorated through the end of the year. Your third year and thereafter will be $98.50, due at the end of the calendar year.

Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) Certification

The Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification is the first and only negotiation credential recognized by the National Association of REALTORS®. It is designed to elevate and enhance negotiating skills so that today's real estate professionals can play the game to win. The certification is conferred by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI).

The RENE credential is recognized by NAR and will be populated in your NRDS record as well as on the applicable section of REALTOR.com.

The RENE curriculum provides interactive experiences to help negotiators elevate their game! The course examines all types of negotiation formats and methods as well as a full spectrum of tips, tools, techniques and advantages to you can provide effective results for your clients.

There are three simple requirements that must be completed within two (2) years of taking the RENE course (classroom or online):

  3. Submit a one-time $159 credentialing fee. There are NO annual dues!

After you complete the course, you can complete the application and receive the RENE certification.
