The last class in the series of "How To Build Your Business Like a Boss" - this course delineates the education and license law requirements necessary to maintain your real estate license in the state of Georgia.
Course also includes best practices for managing money as a new agent and your responsibility to your brokerage as well as learning how to establish healthy and fair competition through advertising and the proper handling of real estate transactions.
A native of Atlanta, Heather was born and raised in Buckhead. She brings over two decades of real estate expertise to the table, focusing on marketing, operations, and analytics. She prioritizes relationship building, both with clients and her expanding sphere of referrals, but also with valued vendors such as lenders and inspectors providing services for her clients.Heather began her real estate career in builder developer services, at a company where training and education were a regular part of the culture. She has continued to hold education and training as a priority in her career serving on committees at both ARA and GAR as well as working with various brokerage offices to offer classroom training on Building Your Business and Marketing Yourself to Your Sphere. Heather earned her Broker license in 2018 and is a graduate of the Atlanta Realtors Association Emerging Leaders Class of 2018.

Ennis Antoine is a leader and professional REALTOR® who combines his passion for the real estate industry with his unrelenting commitment to continuing education and the REALTOR® organization. Ennis started his career in 1985 in New Orleans, Louisiana, before transferring to Atlanta, Georgia as an associate broker with Better Homes in Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers. Today, Ennis is the Team Leader for his office of over 232 agents. Ennis is a certified real estate instructor, teaching the 75 hour sales pre-license course and post license courses to new agents across the state of Georgia. He has earned the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and is Quality Service Certified (QSC).Ennis served in 2015 as the President of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, the largest local REALTOR® association in Georgia with over 10,000 members. Ennis has served in numerous leadership roles within the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). He is a graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy and was recently inducted into the prestigious NAR REALTORS® Political Action Committee Hall of Fame.Ennis has received the Atlanta REALTORS® President's Award, 5 Star Circle Award, Captain of Industry Award and REALTOR® of the Year Award. A man of service, he has been a Deacon in his church for over 20 years and is heavily involved with Habitat for Humanity, working on houses all across the nation. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse for break it. Not being aware of acceptable real estate practices and procedures does not prevent license revocation. Most practicing real estate professionals took the prelicense course a long time ago. The purpose of this course is to review specific laws, rules and practices that guide the real estate industry in Georgia. Join the fun of competing in a game while refreshing yourself about crucial information that guides our work.
This program meets the requirements of the GREC mandated license law course. Topics covered include trust account requirements, unfair trade practices, brokerage relationships, firm management responsibilities, advertising, handling real estate transactions, notification requirements, and licensees acting as principals.
Please Note: If you have previously taken this course, the Georgia Real Estate Commission requires 366 days before you can receive credit.
Since Joi Bostic was a little girl, everyone around her would say that she would grow up to teach others. Although she would hold classes with her dolls and stuffed animals, she resisted and protested against a career as a teacher. Her formal education had her on track to enter corporate America in the area of marketing management. However, after college, Joi finally followed her “true calling” and entered the classroom in 1988. Since then she has taught college credit courses, traveled the country delivering workshops and seminars and designed hundreds of courses and workshops. Joi has earned a reputation for Real Estate training as being a thorough, easy-to-understand instructor with humor and practical application. Recently, Joi completed and was awarded the REEA Gold Standard Instructor Certification. Joi’s goal in instructing is to ensure that learning takes place in an enjoyable safe environment and each student walks away with an understanding of the material. In 2021, Joi received the Mary Shern Educator of the Year Award by the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association (GREEA).
